Polished Antique Brown Granite Slabs

Antique Brown Granite is a coarse-grained, black-brown anorthosite of the Precambrian period. Its dark greyish-browns and crystal-white spots bring out the subtle variations of the stone. The slab is comprised of dark-brown irregular crystals with metallic glints of mica, tributes to Angola’s beautiful precipitous landscapes.Often, the crystals of the Antique Brown Granite will show white striations that are apparent on large slab areas. During the polishing process a clear epoxy resin filler may be used to fill any micro fissures or tiny pitting however this does not affect the integrity of the stone, it merely provides an even smoother surface finish. Antique Brown Granite is suitable for both interior and exterior use futhermore is frost resistant and with a constant polish.
