1.Main Processes for Stone Countertops.
Selection of materials → large cut → polishing → cutting edge → side processing → digging pots and drilling → polishing repair → testing → packaging → shipping
2.Brushing and Polishing
The polishing stage has two parts: coarse grinding and fine grinding.
The main processing equipment is an automatic multi-head continuous grinding machine, diamond leveling machine, bridge mill, disk mill, reversing rough grinding machine, hand-operated grinding machine.
Coarse grinding: The qualified products and thickened boards in the previous process are first coarse ground with a grinding machine, at present, the mill mainly uses a hand-operated mill and multi-head continuous grinding and polishing machine.
If the surface quality of the wool board is not ideal, you can brush glue on the surface of the wool board, brush a layer of resin glue to make up the small holes, cracks, chicken feet, and other defects on the wool board, and also make the wool board surface better and more glossy.
Fine grinding: Use the polishing machine to polish the qualified or repaired rough board one by one into the rough board, and remember to mark out the defects such as cracks, color lines, stone gall, sweeping flowers, etc. that cannot be repaired in the rough board with a red crayon so that the next process can be found in time, and these defects can be avoided and used to process small specification components, such as water stops or thickened edges. Usually, the gloss level of European and American orders should be above 90° (or processed according to the customer's requirements, if some of the stones cannot meet the requirements, we need to negotiate with the customer).
