Italian Classico Roma Beige Travertine Stone

Italian Roma travertine slabs have a glazed texture and high gloss due to recrystallization; the pores are often bent by pressure (unlike ordinary round pores), and calcium carbonate crystal rings are visible around the pores in some mines.

Italian Roman travertine has a warm, historical feel, good light transmission, and superior strength compared to ordinary travertine. It can be polished or matte, suitable for both classic and modern styles.

Italian Roma travertine has a compressive strength of 50.4 MPa, a flexural strength of 11.5 MPa, a water absorption rate of 0.86%, and a density of 2.23 g/cm³. Compaction and recrystallization significantly enhance its strength compared to ordinary travertine, resulting in better processing stability.

Italian Roma beige travertine is suitable for interior walls/feature walls, countertops (coffee tables, dining tables, washbasins), columns, and outdoor dry-hanging walls and plaza floors; it is not suitable for direct use on outdoor surfaces with long-term water accumulation (requires enhanced sealing).

Italian Roman travertine requires pore repair and waterproofing/stain-proofing treatment; avoid acidic cleaning agents daily, and regularly maintain the protective layer; ensure proper gaps and anti-slip treatment during installation.
