Grigio Billiemi is a popular stone that takes its name from the mountain it’s generating from, in Sicily (Italy). It is recognizable by its grey background, covered by lighter spots and areas of pattern.

It is a rather soft marble, therefore it is often filled with resin and repaired to grant maximum structural strength.

The commercial category of this material is Marble, commonly used for flooring and internal cladding, especially in places designed to stun with book-matched slabs, like in bathrooms and sitting rooms. The material is not recommended for use as a kitchen worktop, but with a good sealant and everyday care, it can be installed in these hard-worn areas of your house.
