Commonly known by the trade names Afghanistan Green Onyx or Afghanistan Jade Onyx this beautiful, green, and brown-banded stone is not technically onyx but is actually travertine, a variety of aragonite. It is primarily quarried from the Helmand province in Afghanistan and is frequently cut, carved, and polished for use as a decorative or ornamental stone.
Afghan green onyx Blocks for export wire cut or blocks sold per ton. These Blocks measure: a length of 120 through 250 cm; a height of 80 through 180 cm, based on the characteristics of the materials. They are crack-free, therefore usable up to 90/95%, and suitable for every cut-to-size work, like tiles, slabs, handicrafts countertops for kitchen and bathrooms, stairs, etc.

2) 60 x 30 x 1.5 cm or 24 x 12 x 5/8 inches

Afghan Green Onyx Tiles Thickness: 1 cm, 1.2 cm, 1.5 cm, 1.8 cm, 2 cm OR 10 mm, 12 mm,15 mm, 18 mm, 20 mm. But also other measures are available upon request.
